Bio

BIOGRAPHY

Born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and having lived in different countries, cities and villages, Dronkers' drawings offer different perspectives.

She divides her time between her land-based studio in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, and her studio aboard her sailing boat. Her work is heavily influenced by her extended stays at sea, where nothing is what it seems, and everything can transform instantly.

She was trained as a free artist, painted, worked with textiles and textile design, and made jewellery.

In 2007, she consciously chose drawing as her primary focus.

Her work is in private collections in Europe and America, as well as the collection of the municipality Nijmegen.
