Sea mysteries 6 shows the ever-changing shapes of the dark and the light parts during the day while sailing at sea.

In Parallax 1/10 the white and somewhat lighter part is smaller. Every drawing has its own balance in black and white. Where the black and white lines are crossing there is every time a different grey visible.

Parallax 1-6 is one of the series on linen made after my artist in residency at sea in 2022. It must have the right amount of transparancy and lightness.
In this bigger black and white drawing on linen -80x60 cm- the curved shapes seem to float. You can imagine there is room, space between these shapes and the rest of the drawing. It gives you a feeling of freedom.

This is one of the oversized drawings in the Parallax series on linen. It is also made with markers. In this drawing, the layer of many white lines must be perfectly balanced with the black lines beneath. So that you, as the viewer, experience a sense of light.
