Although it is very early, I would like to share a new step in the drawing process.
Do you happen to remember the drawings from a few years ago? These consisted of very soft surfaces.
I used graphite pencil on paper 100x150 cm, and later, the thinnest pen and ink.
Maybe you have such a drawing at home.
I then looked for more sharpness, for some more precise lines. Those became the markers.
You can read more about the process here.
The opposite happens: the relatively sharp lines with the markers would like to be counterbalanced by soft transitions.
I will use an airbrush and colour pencil for the very soft transitions.
Between those two, the sharper lines with the markers and the softness of the airbrush, a new game is now underway.
The RISO prints, made from lines made with an airbrush, will form the basis for my drawings.sreknordamles@amles during our trip.
I am still expanding and will share new work through this art letter. If you don't follow me already
You can see it on Instagram, too!
