Winston Churchill

In being an artist it’s, among other topics, about what Churchill said.
I keep taking risks that a work will “fail” and I continue in a good mood.
The meaning of “failing” can also be that the expected result doesn’t show up. It is exactly this unexpected result that I invite 
by trying new combinations or ways.
My role is being the observer and sense when things turn out well.

Two drawings as an example where it turned out to work:

In the drawing on the left I only had one chance because
I wanted to apply the paint in one stroke
- the paint is a combination of gouache, acrylics and acrylic medium..
In the drawing on the right I put very carefully line after line, 
in order to sense if the drawing was completed.

What I ran into was the balance between text and pictures, and
how the website looked from the point of view of the visitors
and the technical possibilities.
Designing a website is  as much effort as making a drawing!
